Principal - Anne Marie Cohea
Mrs. Cohea is in her sixteenth year of education, and seventh year as an administrator. She has been the Principal at Barrow since 2020 and was an Assistant Principal at Southside Elementary in Angleton ISD. Prior to becoming an administrator, she taught at Southside Elementary School and Rancho Isabella in Angleton ISD in 2nd grade, Our Lady Queen of Peace in Kindergarten, in Richwood and Primrose School of Friendswood in Friendswood as the Assistant Director/Curriculum Coordinator. She attended college at The University of Texas at Austin where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education EC-4 with a minor in Social Work. Later, she received a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Mrs. Cohea has been trained in MANDT, CPI and CPR and Region 4 Action Coaching, Leverage Leadership and Data-Driven Instruction. She is a certified trainer of Poverty 101, Classroom Instruction That Works, and 40 Developmental Assets. She has been working with the Targeted Improvement Plan process in Angleton and CBISD and has been a key member in facilitating successful student growth.
Assistant Principal - Hannah Galloway
Ms. Galloway is in her eighth year in education, with all of her teaching and administrative experience in Columbia-Brazoria ISD. She taught 2nd grade and special education: behavior challenged as well as coached high school volleyball. Ms. Galloway was recognized as the CBISD Elementary New Teacher of the Year during her 1st year of teaching. She was the first CBISD Behavior Coordinator and is a CPI and Restorative Practices district trainer. Ms. Galloway has a Bachelors in Victim Studies from Sam Houston University, earned her teaching certification through Texas Teachers in Special Education and Core EC-6 and a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Ms. Galloway has training in CPI, CPR, Restorative Discipline, Data-Driven Instruction and Action Coaching.
